Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Infant Toddler Coach to join our dedicated team in fostering early childhood development and supporting educators in creating enriching learning environments for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead professional development initiatives, develop innovative curricula, and enhance instructional practices within early childhood education settings. As an Infant Toddler Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering teachers, improving classroom experiences, and ensuring that best practices are consistently implemented to promote optimal growth and learning for infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops focused on infant and toddler development, curriculum implementation, and instructional strategies.
- Utilize instructional design principles such as Highscoper (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to create effective learning modules tailored to early childhood educators’ needs.
- Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to teachers in classroom settings, emphasizing best practices in infant-toddler care and education.
- Facilitate professional development sessions that enhance teachers’ skills in curriculum development, classroom management, and assessment techniques.
- Collaborate with educational teams to adapt training materials for diverse learning environments and ensure alignment with state regulations and standards.
- Employ project management skills to coordinate training schedules, track progress, and evaluate program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Proven experience in early childhood education with a focus on infant and toddler programs.
- Strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult education methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate teacher training sessions effectively using presentation skills and clear communication.
- Knowledge of instructional leadership principles within educational settings and experience coaching teachers in classrooms.
- Technical proficiency with productivity software including Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace for content development and reporting purposes.
- Excellent writing skills for creating training materials, manuals, and instructional guides.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
