Job description:
Lien Negotiator
MOET LAW GROUP is looking for a full time lien negotiator in our personally injury law firm. Your job duties would entail:
- Client point of contact once their case has been resolved
- Reviewing client outstanding medical bills and liens and providing a settlement plan of action and justification from lien negotiated amounts
- Communicating with providers to get final outstanding bill amounts
- Negotiating with providers to help clients obtain a reduction
- Handling any statutory liens such as Medi-cal & Medicare
- Drafting client final closing docs and disbursement statements
- Issuing provider checks and client settlement checks
**You must have previous experience in the area of lien negotiations or accounting/book keeping**
A strong candidate will have:
- Experience in the field of lien negotiations and/or accounting/book keeping background
- Possess strong reasoning, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via phone calls and email
