We are a growing, reputable electrical contractor seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to join our team. This position covers new home construction, remodels, renovations, service work, maintenance, and all types of residential electrical installations and repairs. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems
- Rough-in and trim-out wiring for new home construction
- Perform electrical work for remodels and renovations
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in existing homes
- Install lighting, switches, outlets, panels, breakers, and service upgrades
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and electrical diagrams
- Ensure all work meets NEC codes, local regulations, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and project managers
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Accurately document work performed and materials used
Qualifications
. Minimum 2–5 years residential electrical experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of new construction, remodels, service, and maintenance work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with NEC and local electrical codes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools (power tools a plus)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Preferred (But Not Required)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Experience working directly with builders and homeowners
- Service work and diagnostic experience
