About the Role
As a DEXA Technician, you will perform DEXA procedures while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. You will play an important role in ensuring accurate studies, maintaining patient safety, supporting efficient department operations, and creating a positive experience for every patient.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with excellent judgment, attention to detail, organization, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality DEXA scans in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Operate radiographic and related support equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow all applicable safety standards to protect patients during procedures.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures throughout the workday to maintain efficient patient flow and continuity of care.
- Evaluate studies for quality and demonstrate sound judgment in image critique.
- Routinely monitor equipment and promptly report issues that could affect workflow or patient care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized documentation.
- Assist with downloading ultrasound studies into patient charts.
- Complete orders, documentation, and other items within the DEXA workflow/bucket.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with applicable privacy requirements.
- Support the department and clinical team with additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- DEXA Certification required
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred
- Practical experience performing DEXA scans
