Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will work closely with clients to assess their needs and deliver personalized treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Intraoral massage, lymphatic drainage massage and prenatal knowledge is a plus but not required.
Duties
- Perform various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for ongoing care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an occupational health or med spa setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to medical terminology standards.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements in massage therapy to enhance service offerings.
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient assessments and treatments.
- Experience in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment within an occupational health or med spa context.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.

- Create a tailored and individualized treatment for each client - no two sessions are alike
- Provide excellent customer service with every client, every visit
- Curate a professional and respectful environment for all clients
- You are an artist; we encourage you to use your experience, knowledge and skills freely
- Arrive on time for appointments
- Adhere to schedules, starting and ending on time
- Complete SOAP notes as needed
- Create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all clients (its easy to do with amazing clients like ours!)
