Busy, well established downtown Burlingame restaurant seeking experienced Host/Hostess
Respectful team player, with a strong work ethic and balanced sense of urgency with attention to detail.
Current one year minimum experience as a Host/Hostess in a upscale dining, high volume restaurant and ability to learn and thrive in a high volume restaurant.
Part-time schedule (Must be able to work weekends).
Responsibilities
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations or accommodations
- Interact with customers, share menu knowledge, seat guests, set up tables
- Restock and replenish restaurant inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a host/hostess
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep organized work environment
- Relevant training certificate
