Production Team Member
Industry: Carpet Cushion / Carpet Padding Manufacturing
Job Summary
The Production Worker is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, processing, and packaging of carpet cushion products. This role operates production equipment, monitors product quality, and supports material handling processes to ensure efficient production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce carpet cushion and foam padding products
- Load raw materials and monitor production flow through processing equipment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications
- Cut, stack, wrap, or package carpet cushion products for shipment
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate production counts and report any production issues to supervisors
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support team members to maintain efficient production and minimize downtime
- Maintain housekeeping standards in work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Basic mechanical aptitude is helpful

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing facility
- Exposure to machinery, foam materials, and adhesives used in cushion production
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
