Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Conduct laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper safety techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in residential or commercial settings.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment for tasks like floor polishing, vacuuming, and outdoor surface maintenance.
- Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to health and safety standards while providing excellent customer service through effective client communication.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed cleaning and sanitation procedures efficiently.
- Experience with various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and outdoor maintenance.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and prolonged standing or walking.
- Previous experience in customer service roles related to housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
