Duties and Responsibilities:
The Outpatient Clinician is a post-masters experienced mental health professional responsible for providing culturally responsive, evidenced-based individual, group and family based clinical interventions in a high impact outpatient clinic. The OC must be well versed in evidenced-based clinical interventions and demonstrate great quality in the design, implementation, measurement and tracking of evidenced-based interventions and protocols. The OC will further demonstrate clinical competency based on the ability to engage and maintain a culturally diverse member population with acceptable retention rates and treatment satisfaction scores. Competencies will be maintained and supervised through live, individual and group supervision and bi-weekly video recorded sessions. Outpatient Clinician Contractors are responsible for the minimum required billing of 10 hours (weekly) or above.
- Producing the minimally required billing objectives weekly.
- Conduct intake assessments and comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations based on DSM V criteria.
- Submit completed intake packets with initial recovery/resiliency plan and bio-psychosocial assessment and formulation within 24 hours of completion.
- Provide individual, group and family based interventions therapy for all assigned cases in accordance with treatment plan;
- Maintain complete and accurate records on all members on his/her caseload and accurately ensures completeness of case files;
- Develop comprehensive resiliency/recovery plans for member caseload with succinct, measurable goals and clearly monitors and tracks interventions during each member session.
- Develop and maintain Recovery/Resiliency Plans every 90 days and complete within session during which member actively participates in its development
- Provide comprehensive progress notes after each member encounter that tracks interventions according to agency protocol, clinical best practice and recovery/resiliency goals.
- Complete progress notes daily and submit to billing coordinator with encounter forms.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience in providing behavioral health services.
- Knowledge of Evidenced-based treatments and interventions
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of clinical best practices for a broad range of DSM V diagnoses
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to community based behavioral health needs of disenfranchised and urban populations
