As a Quality Control Inspector at Simplex Homes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the production of modular homes. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect and evaluate the various components and systems of modular homes at different stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Inspections of individual components, materials, and structural elements to ensure they meet quality standards; identify deviations from those standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections.
- Must be able to work closely with departments company-wide to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
- Ensure that all modular homes adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Proven experience in a modular manufacturing setting and/or applicable construction experience.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Ability to follow directions and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
