West Monona Community School District is seeking High School/Middle Schools Associates to support special education teachers in providing appropriate instruction and supervision for assigned students.
Position Details:

Hourly, 10-month position

Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (school days only)
Job Goal
To support special education teachers in creating a structured and supportive learning environment for students.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma required
-
Experience working with children in a group setting preferred
-
Ability to be flexible, patient, and calm in stressful situations
-
Basic computer literacy skills
Responsibilities
-
Provide instruction and supervision to students under the teacher’s direction
-
Supervise students in the lunchroom, media center, school bus, and classroom
-
Assist with clerical work and filing as directed
-
Support students with health and hygiene needs
-
Assist students with behavioral needs as directed by the teacher and principal

Perform other duties as assigned
