Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Bake pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, packaging, and assembling food items for display or service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, blenders, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with food handling procedures ensuring freshness, proper storage, and adherence to health regulations
- Support high-volume production during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in baked goods and pastries
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing portion sizes
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Must be at least 18 years old
