About the Role
As a Tooling Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the peak performance and longevity of our production tooling. You will be responsible for the proactive maintenance, repair, and optimization of equipment, directly impacting our operational efficiency and quality standards.
Responsibilities-
Execute preventative maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and ensure tooling meets rigorous performance standards.

Drive continuous improvement through SMED initiatives to streamline changeovers and enhance overall machine availability.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the tooling department to support a safe and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold food safety and quality compliance protocols.

Develop and deliver training programs to upskill team members on proper tooling care and maintenance techniques.

Perform hands-on repairs and troubleshooting to resolve tooling issues promptly and minimize production downtime.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex tooling.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Experience with SMED or other lean manufacturing methodologies.

Knowledge of food safety standards and quality management systems.
