Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and financial software, including handling cash drawers and managing cash flow
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and cash handling to ensure precise transactions
- Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to create an inviting shipping environment
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with retail store operations is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and financial software usage
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse customers
- Knowledge of cash management procedures such as cashiering, cash drawer handling, and cash handling best practices
