Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Bar Manager, where you will lead the bar operations with energy and expertise! You will oversee bar operations, bar staff, ensure quality standards, and create an inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This is an hourly plus tipped position.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the bar team, including training staff on bar preparation, beverage service, Toast POS systems, and customer engagement techniques.
- Oversee drink preparation to ensure quality, presentation, and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage staffing levels, and supervise day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service flow.
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory of all beer, wine, and liquor to ensure proper stock levels and cost control.
- Maintain beverage cost goals through strategic purchasing, inventory management, and portion control
Experience
- Proven management experience in food service management or hospitality management roles within casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Experience with cash handling and profit & loss analysis.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
