Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Operations Manager/Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance duties in all guest rooms including caulking, tile repair, plumbing, painting, carpet cleaning, furniture repairs, lighting, etc.
- Ensure proper documentation of completed preventative maintenance tasks
- Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve in a timely manner
- Complete maintenance requests submitted by other departments
- Complete maintenance projects assigned by the Management Team
- Ensure required inspections are completed on time
- Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies. Work with Operations Manager to ensure procurements are in line with budgeting guidelines
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.
- Help maintain the quality, appearance and safety of the hotel's exterior and grounds not serviced by contractor (i.e. snow removal, painting, window cleaning, garage cleaning, etc.)
- Help maintain inventory levels and properly use department tools and assets
- Maintain back of the house areas including, but not limited to; maintenance shop, boiler room, and elevator room in a clean and organized manner
- Complete all required staff and department training in a timely manner
- Complete additional work-related duties as requested by the Management Team
- Respond to emergency situations when needed
- Assist with houseperson or housekeeping department as needed
