Dispatchers will take 911 emergency calls and non-emergency admin calls. Dispatch police, fire and ambulance to calls for the entire county. Dispatchers will be trained in Emergency Medical Dispatch, Emergency Police Dispatch, Emergency Fire Dispatch, CPR. MULES, 40 hour state required training and much more. This job can be demanding, but also very rewarding. Critical thinking skills are a must. 12 hour shifts, 3 day weekend every other week. Insurance, vacation, sick time, holidays. EAP. Must be minimum 18 years old, able to pass an extensive criminal history/background check, and pass a drug screen. Must live within 60 minutes of Richmond, MO.
This is an Emergency Services position. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, overtime and holidays when needed.
