Bobcat Plus is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Rental Manager for our Kenosha, Wisconsin location. If you enjoy building customer relationships, growing a business, and working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd like to talk with you.
The primary objective of this position is to grow our rental business. You'll be responsible for increasing rental revenue, maximizing fleet utilization, developing new customer relationships, and ensuring every rental customer receives an outstanding experience.
In addition to managing the rental department, you'll support our Parts and Service teams while driving inside sales of Bobcat Grounds Maintenance equipment.
What You'll Do
- Grow rental revenue by developing new and existing customer relationships.
- Manage all day-to-day rental operations, including reservations, contracts, billing, and equipment returns.
- Maximize fleet utilization and ensure equipment is clean, serviced, and rental-ready.
- Perform rental inspections and accurately assess fuel, cleaning, and damage charges.
- Coordinate with the Service Department to maintain fleet readiness and minimize downtime.
- Assist customers with parts sales, attachments, accessories, and wear items.
- Support the Service Department with work order coordination and customer communication when needed.
- Generate inside sales opportunities for Bobcat mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
- Follow up on quotes, promote seasonal programs, and identify opportunities to cross-sell rentals, equipment, parts, and service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working closely with Sales, Parts, and Service teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in equipment rental, dealership operations, construction equipment, parts, service, or equipment sales.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn Bobcat equipment and attachments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a passion for growing a business.
- Valid driver's license required.
