Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales recording.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for accurate billing.
- Assist in setting up bar areas for events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy nights or events at nightclubs or other hospitality venues.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in food service, catering, or retail math for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques within the food industry.
- Experience serving diverse clientele in hospitality settings, with strong customer service skills that foster guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in brewing or beverage preparation is a plus for candidates interested in expanding their craft knowledge.
