We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Residential CDL Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for operating a commercial vehicle on residential routes while providing excellent customer service and adhering to all safety regulations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Transport municipal waste or recyclable materials from the transfer station to the disposal facility.
- Dispose of loads safely and properly.
- Maintain a courteous and professional attitude with all customers encountered on route.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, and lift/carry as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Position requires working in and out of the truck.
- Employees are exposed to outdoor weather conditions daily, including heat, sun, rain, snow, and wind.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Current DOT physical.
- Ability to successfully complete a drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to successfully pass a road test.
- Proven record of on-time performance and reliability.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
- We do offer a training program for NEW CDL HOLDERS
- No DUI, OWI, reckless driving, or other major moving violations within the last 3 years.
- Fewer than 3 moving violations within the previous 24 months.
- Fewer than 3 accidents within the last 5 years, regardless of fault.
