Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational growth, stability, and long-term sustainability.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, including financial statement analysis, regulatory reporting, and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify potential financial threats and implement effective risk management practices aligned with COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity and fiscal health.
- Drive revenue management efforts through strategic pricing, revenue cycle management, and business development initiatives.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control measures, cost management strategies, and financial projection model development to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Oversee compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant industry regulations.
- Lead negotiations for mergers & acquisitions, fundraising activities for business development, and strategic partnerships to expand organizational impact.
- Provide clear financial report writing and interpretation to senior leadership and board members, supporting informed decision-making.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for payroll management, cost control, supply chain finance, governmental accounting, and other specialized areas.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in finance directorship roles with a strong background in strategic management and senior leadership within complex organizations.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, financial statement interpretation, tax accounting, cost accounting, and technical accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting, fiscal management, and industry knowledge of financial regulations.
- Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting analysis, business analysis, market analysis, and developing financial projection models.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with experience in fundraising for business development initiatives.
- Proficiency in financial software systems along with advanced analysis skills for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of supervising diverse teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards (GASB), supply chain finance concepts, expense management practices, payroll systems, and cost control measures.

Pay: $120,075.09 - $150,907.64 per year
