Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to inspire young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool-aged children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining an organized space conducive to learning and play.
- Assess individual child development progress through observations, standardized testing, and documentation; tailor instruction to meet diverse needs including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques that promote respectful interactions and social-emotional growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns; provide guidance on supporting learning at home.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies; maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental assessments.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience with young children in preschool or daycare settings is required; experience in private schools or Montessori environments is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and childhood development instruction.
- Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and community partners.
- Experience with toddler care, behavior management techniques, and teaching physical education or tutoring is advantageous.
- Certification or training in early childhood education principles such as Montessori methods or childhood development is preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
