Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in managing daily hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments

- Oversee revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and profitability
- Handle guest relations by resolving issues promptly and ensuring memorable experiences
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing, training, and employee development initiatives
- Monitor budgeting activities, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting for each shift
- Maintain high standards of phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operations at the front desk
- Support the implementation of hospitality best practices across all departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a hotel or resort environment with strong leadership qualities
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality management principles including revenue management, guest services, and hotel operations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in a multilingual or bilingual setting
- Strong understanding of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and hotel management software systems
- Exceptional communication skills; capable of managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Experience with night audit procedures and guest relations management is highly desirable
