Job Summary
Join our team as a Landscaping Team Member and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. Whether you're trimming trees, installing sod, or maintaining lawns, you'll be an essential part of transforming outdoor environments into stunning landscapes that inspire and delight.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces pristine and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Identify different plant species and assess their health to ensure proper care and maintenance
- Manage pest control by applying pesticides responsibly following safety guidelines and regulations
- Maintain or install hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls to enhance landscape aesthetics
- Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing to ensure safe access during winter months
- Assist with tree care activities including trimming, planting, and removal to promote safety and growth
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture preferred
- Knowledge of plant identification and landscape design principles
- Familiarity with pesticide management and safety procedures
- Experience working with irrigation systems, lawn care practices, and hardscape installation or repair
- Construction experience or experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
