We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can multitask and thrive in a team-oriented environment. In this role, you will provide vital support to our dental professionals while helping create a welcoming and comfortable experience for our young patients. Previous dental experience is a plus, but not required—we are happy to train the right person.
Qualifications:
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills.
- Able to work well with children.
- Dental and/or Orthodontic Assisting experience is a plus, however, experience is not required, training will be provided.
- Must have friendly personality and be able to work with a large team.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week Monday-Friday.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and proper sterilization of dental instruments.
- Preform dental cleanings, apply fluoride and assist the dentist during exams.
- Take dental X-rays and ensure safe handling of imaging equipment.
- Assist the dentist during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and crowns.
- Ensure patient records are accurate.
Please Note: We are looking for individuals that can work between 32-38 hours per week Monday-Friday. Hours may vary slightly from week to week. If you are unable to work up to 40 hours a week, please do not apply.
