Job description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Appraisal Coordinator to manage the assignment, tracking, and coordination of residential appraisal orders. This role is responsible for ensuring timely appraiser selection, efficient order management, clear communication with internal teams and external vendors, and adherence to client service level agreements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong knowledge of appraisal workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Assign and manage residential appraisal orders from intake through completion
- Select and engage appropriate appraisers based on client requirements, geography, complexity, and performance standards
- Monitor appraisal turn time to ensure compliance with SLAs and escalation protocols
- Communicate daily with appraisers, lenders, and internal teams regarding order status and updates
- Review incoming appraisal reports for completeness, compliance, and delivery requirements before final submission
- Resolve assignment issues, delays, or reassignments in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate order records in appraisal management systems
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in mortgage, appraisal, real estate operations, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of residential appraisal process and industry guidelines
- Experience working with appraisal management systems
- Excellent communication; written and verbal
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments in a deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in appraisal operations
- Familiarity with FHA, conventional, and investor appraisal requirements
- Problem-solving mindset
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
