Job Summary
Archer Health is hosting a biometric screening booth at a conference in Wilmington, NC from September 23 to 25, and we're looking for a friendly, reliable Registered Nurse to join us for all three days. You'll run quick point-of-care health screenings for conference attendees, share results on the spot, and help promote preventive health and wellness. We provide the lipid analyzer and all supplies. You bring the clinical skill and a great attendee-facing presence. This is a paid contract role.
Responsibilities
- Perform finger-stick capillary blood collection
- Operate a point-of-care lipid analyzer and record results on the provided screening forms
- Walk attendees through their numbers in clear, friendly terms and share general wellness tips
- Help attendees complete a brief health questionnaire
- Follow standard infection-control, aseptic, and sharps-disposal practices
- Keep the screening station clean, organized, and welcoming
- Handle attendee information discreetly and professionally
- Work with the booth team to keep attendees moving smoothly
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered North Carolina RN license (or a multistate/Compact license valid in NC)
- Comfort with finger-stick / capillary sampling and point-of-care testing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Warm, outgoing communication style and comfort engaging the public at a busy booth
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable availability across all three dates (September 23, 24, and 25)
- Prior experience with health screening events or community/public health is a plus
