We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Experienced Floater/Closer to join our vibrant team! In this versatile role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, seamlessly stepping into various positions to ensure smooth classroom transitions, exceptional childcare, and consistent program delivery. Priority will be given to applicants who can communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Provide flexible coverage across multiple classrooms and age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and special education settings.
- Support classroom teachers with lesson implementation, activity setup, and child engagement to promote childhood development and learning.
- Assist with daily childcare routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and behavioral management to ensure children’s safety and comfort.
- Step in as a lead or backup caregiver during peak times or staff absences, ensuring continuous supervision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards, including first aid readiness and emergency procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Support ongoing classroom management efforts by implementing behavior strategies aligned with developmental needs.
Skills

- Spanish speaking skills a plus!
- Experience working with children across various age groups in daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and professionalism.
- First aid certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Familiarity with special education needs and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing schedules or classroom needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
