AAA Hardwoods is seeking an Experienced Sawmill Operator to join our team in Weyauwega, Wisconsin. Responsible for safely operating, setting up and maintaining Sawmill Equipment. This full-time position works Monday - Thursday from 6am - 4:30pm, and includes a full benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow corporate safety guidelines and requirements, use personal protective equipment and proactively address any unsafe conditions observed. Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance, inspection ready at all times
- Responsible for setting up machines, maintaining process flow, shutting down machines, and performing maintenance as necessary
- Cleans and inspects machinery daily
- Communicates with others on the line to facilitate production
- Keeps workspace and surroundings clean and neat to foster productivity and efficiency
- Other assignments as made by management
Qualifications:
- Teamwork: Can work in group or alone; oriented towards the good of the whole. Contain ability to build rapport and good working relationship with co-workers
- Demonstrate regular and dependable attendance
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience with setting up and maintaining equipment preferred
- Previous sawmill experience preferred
- Basic mechanical skills
- Able to read measuring devices
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
