Job description:
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests with a cheerful attitude and in an efficient, professional manner while creating memorable, positive experiences with the guests.
JOB DUTIES
- Take beverage orders from guests
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the company standard drink recipes
- Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed.
- Handle difficult situations effectively.
- Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system.
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
- Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar supervisor.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Attend work on time as scheduled.
- Follow grooming and dress standards.
- Minimize safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties as directed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
- Must work well with or without direct supervision.
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Must be neat and well-groomed at all times.
- Need to be flexible, self-motivated, and positive and have a professional attitude towards guests, co-workers and management.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
