Sugarwolf Barista — Downtown Austin | $25/hr guaranteed after tip share
Sugarwolf isn't a coffee shop that also sells pastries. It's a full bakery, kitchen, and bar concept where the coffee program pulls its weight alongside everything else on the menu. We take it seriously — and we're looking for someone who does too.
We're a brand-new concept in the heart of downtown Austin, backed by Guy and Larry Restaurants. We have the resources and the intention to build something lasting. You'd be joining early, which means your fingerprints are on how this program develops.
The Role
You'll own the coffee bar — dialing in espresso, building relationships with regulars, and making sure every drink that leaves your hands is worth coming back for. Our hours are daytime only (7am–4pm), so you keep your evenings.
- Pull consistent, high-quality espresso and execute our full coffee menu with skill and speed
- Guide guests through the menu — make a real recommendation, not just take an order
- Keep your bar clean, stocked, and running smoothly during high-volume rushes
- Collaborate with the wider FOH team to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Bring your craft knowledge and your personality — both matter here
Who We're Looking For
- You have real barista experience, and you care about the quality of what you make
- You're fast without being sloppy and composed when the line stretches out the door
- You enjoy talking to guests and can translate coffee enthusiasm into approachable hospitality
- You want to be part of building something from the ground up — not just filling a slot
