Brant Beach Yacht Club (BBYC) is seeking an energetic, reliable, and food-loving Line Cook to join our summer culinary team. If you enjoy preparing simple, delicious food in a fun, fast-paced environment—and want to work steps from the water—this is the perfect summer job for you.

About the Brant Beach Yacht Club:
Located on stunning Long Beach Island (LBI), New Jersey, BBYC spans seven bayfront blocks and is known for its welcoming community and lively seasonal programs.

What You’ll Do
As a Snack Bar Short Order Cook, you will play a key role in keeping our members happy, well-fed, and coming back for more. Your responsibilities include:
Food Preparation
· Preparing fresh salads, sandwiches, and grilled items
· Using a deep fryer to create crowd-pleasing fries and snacks
· Ensuring all food is prepared efficiently, safely, and deliciously
Kitchen Operations
· Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
· Stocking and rotating inventory
· Following BBYC standards for food handling and service
Guest Experience
· Working alongside Snack Bar Attendants to ensure quick, friendly service
· Communicating effectively about menu items, specials, or ingredient shortages
· Supporting special events as needed
Typical schedule:
· Monday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
· 5 shifts per week, with weekends & holidays required.
· Work up to 40 hours per week, depending on availability.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If…
· You are at least 18 years old
· You can work the full season: June 19 – September 6, 2026
· You are upbeat, positive, and guest-focused
· You have at least 1 year of food service experience
· You’re dependable, self-motivated, and hard-working
· You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen
· You communicate clearly and professionally
· You can lift up to 40 lbs
You will handle fresh ingredients while preparing salads, sandwiches and grill items as well as using our deep fryer to make awesome fries and other snacks that your guests will simply devour!
Compensation
· $18–$25 per hour, based on experience
