Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Codis is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift to support a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Seymour, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment

Support electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility systems

Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime

Diagnose issues with motors, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and control panels

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance (PM)

Work with PLC and HMI systems (read, monitor, and support)

Complete calibrations and maintenance documentation (cGMP environment)

Enter, track, and close work orders in a CMMS system

Supervise contractors when needed

Improve machine functionality, reliability, and efficiency

Maintain facility systems: HVAC, air compressors, conveyors, water systems, fire safety systems

Industrial Maintenance Facilities Maintenance Manufacturing / Plant Maintenance Electrical or Electronics Work HVAC / Refrigeration / Climate Control Mechanical RepairTroubleshooting Mechatronics / Automation Forklift, warehouse or production maintenance Automotive or diesel mechanic background Machine building or repair Construction / mechanical trades Technical or trade school background Strong mechanical aptitude ("tinkerersfixers welcome!")

Preferred SkillsQualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or mechanical experience

Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics

Experience with industrial equipment and machinery

Familiarity with PLC, HMI, control panels, and sensors preferred

Experience with CMMS or work order systems a plus

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical tasks in a plant environment

Strong attention to detail and safety
