Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a respectful, inclusive environment for all children.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, fine motor skills, and early childhood education principles.
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining a clean, safe space for children to explore and learn.
- Provide attentive care to toddlers and preschoolers, including diapering, feeding, and supervising indoor and outdoor playtime.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
Skills
- Experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings is a plus, but but not required.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
