ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enroll & participate in our U.S. Department of Labor recognized Tool & Die Apprenticeship Program via Ivy Tech course work and on-the-job training; as specified in our Standards of Apprenticeship Agreement

Assist with repairs and/or modifications to all tools and fixtures

Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required

Safely operate all tool room equipment

Assist with assembling and disassembling tooling, dies, gauges, etc.

Assist with trouble shooting and resolution of tooling issues

Work with various materials such as general steels, tool steels, and advance high strength steels

Work with a variety of tooling machinery; lathes, mills, grinders, drill press, jigs & fixtures, CNC equipment, TIG welding, etc.

Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment

Must be able to work any shift

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or equivalent experience
