Montessori Haven is an AMS-affiliated Montessori school in Cinco Ranch, Katy, TX, and one of the few schools in the area to hold AMS Stage 3: Accreditation Candidate status, a distinction that reflects our deep, verified commitment to authentic Montessori practice.
We are looking for a passionate, credentialed Lead Teacher ready to bring Montessori's five core components to life in a multi-age classroom and grow with a school genuinely invested in doing this work right.

What You'll Do
- Lead a multi-age Montessori classroom grounded in trained teaching, authentic Montessori materials, child-directed work, and uninterrupted work periods
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet each child's educational, physical, emotional, and social needs
- Create a nurturing, safe, and beautifully prepared learning environment
- Train and guide assistant teachers in Montessori methodology
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development
- Communicate regularly with parents and maintain accurate developmental records
- Keep the classroom clean, organized, and conducive to learning
What You Bring
- Montessori certification required (AMS affiliated, MACTE accredited, or internationally recognized program); active enrollment in a qualifying program also considered
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a childcare or classroom setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- A hands-on, caring, creative, and patient approach with children
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine team player mindset
