Classes are held on campus at 1234 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury Crossing
Duties and Responsibilities
The Psychology Adjunct Faculty will provide effective and high-quality instruction and assist students master course content by meeting one: one as needed. Adjunct Faculty members are held to the same standards as full-time faculty in assessing student learning outcomes; maintaining current knowledge in their teaching field; continuing professional development; utilizing current technology in the performance of job duties; maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics; and assisting with curriculum development and program review as needed. This includes syllabi development, and completion of course required materials at designated deadlines.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, master's degree in social work or related

At least 3 semesters of experience teaching with Canvas Learning Management System.

Must have completed Canvas Training to teach online.

Experience using Open Educational Resources (OER)

Canvas LMS Experience is a must
-
Demonstrated ability to provide diverse teaching methods to different learning styles

Must be available to teach in person for daytime classes, possible evenings and weekends.

Experience teaching at a community college otherwise a 4-year college/university.

Must have experience working in diverse populations, with first generation learners, and multi-lingual learners.
Preferred Qualifications (optional): PhD preferred.
- Experience working with students from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds who possess wide ranges of academic abilities and interests.

Teaching experience at a community college
