This is an open role for the Creative Project Manager for a Film Festival. Applicants must be local to Boulder, CO. Transportation and accommodations will not be provided. The Creative Project Manager is a pre-production and onsite role responsible for project and admin duties.
Project Duties:
- Intaking client scenic and print graphic needs for a TV-reality-show-like main stage with seating for five hundred attendees, a registration welcome desk, a VIP lounge, three networking activities, and a large seated eating area for lunch and a reception. Expected client needs include a stage set, activity sets, theater seating, rental soft seating, directional signage and more.
- Assessing venue for capabilities and layout nuances including conducting a site visit.
- Rendering the client’s ideations of the sets and presenting them to the client for review in 3D and making changes per client needs while offering a professional opinion.
- Owning the schedule of creative deliverables like scenic mockups or signage drafts by staying on top of the creative team like graphic designers or set designers.
- Collaborating with the Creative Director to compose in budget design plans that meet the client vision - these plans are communicated on Google Slides - experience making slides for a creative deck is a must.
- Creating RFP’s for scenic and print providers, comparing bids, and finalizing partners delivering our needs within budget.
- Preparing the contracted creative artists and vendors with the files they need like logos, fonts, hexs, brand guides as well as preparing them for load in and set on site. Making an install, operation, and strike schedule for production.
- Overseeing install, acting as a strict quality control and completing a full inspection prior to dismissing installers.
- Maintaining the aesthetic integrity of scenic elements throughout the course of the event.
- Overseeing load out to ensure a timely wrap, a lack of incidents, and to prevent L&D.
Admin Duties:
- Maintaining the show-related slides of the Project Documentation including mock ups of sets and details on scenic elements per space
- Completing Required Weekly Event Updates for production progress reports
- Submitting a Required Post-Event Survey for the event and your peers
The rate for this role is $10,000 flat for work spread wide over the next three months billable after the gig is over. Applicants are expected to manage their time as contracted specialists and maintain a level of commitment to the project required to deliver quality work. Experience working similar roles in fun and energetic social-forward networking conferences.
Pay: $3,000.00 per month
