Performs varied professional tasks designed to educate and assist seniors and persons with disabilities with resources to meet their needs in community-based programs. These activities include researching, identifying and providing information about human services, maintaining electronic and manual resource files, assisting with accessing services available in the community. Knowledge of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid programs preferred.
The work is performed in a team environment, mainly in office, but may include visiting clients in their homes. Employee confers with Program manager, other Information & Assistance staff, andGeneral Manager to plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate program activities. Use of personal vehicle may be required (paid mileage) for travel within Ravalli County and Missoula County. This is a full-time position that includes vacation, sick leave, Health Reimbursement Account and access to a matching Simple IRA. The work week is Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.
