TriSource Staffing Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults in a welcoming day program in Arlington, VA.
Position Details
- Pay: $20/hour
- Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-3:30 PM
- No evenings, weekends, or holidays!
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support to adults with IDD/DD in both one-on-one and group environments
- Implement individualized behavior support plans and promote positive outcomes
- Assist with recreational, educational, and community-based activities
- Provide job coaching, life skills training, and opportunities for greater independence
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment where participants can thrive
Qualifications
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or another vulnerable population in a day program, group home, residential, or community-based setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current TB screening (or ability to obtain one)
- Flexible working one-on-one and in small group settings
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
