Chillingham’s Steak is seeking friendly, organized, and professional hosts to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, our hosts play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations and wait lists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
- Coordinate seating with servers and management to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and positive during busy periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
