Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and engaging Cheer & Hip Hop Instructor to lead an after-school enrichment program for elementary students. The instructor will introduce students to basic cheerleading and hip hop dance techniques while promoting teamwork, confidence, creativity, and physical fitness in a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities

Plan and lead age-appropriate cheer and hip hop dance lessons for K–6 students

Teach basic choreography, rhythm, coordination, and movement skills

Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
-
Maintain student engagement and manage classroom behavior appropriately
-
Prepare simple routines that may be showcased at the end of the program

Communicate professionally with school staff and program coordinators

Ensure student safety at all times
Qualifications
-
Experience teaching or performing cheer, hip hop, or dance (youth experience preferred)

Ability to work with elementary-aged children
-
High energy, patience, and strong classroom management skills

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Must be able to pass required background checks
Preferred Skills
-
Prior after-school or youth program instruction experience

Ability to adapt instruction for mixed age and skill levels

Strong communication and leadership skills
