Overview
We are a new Korean Steakhouse opening in April. We are now hiring front of house for the steak house. We will be a high end restaurant focusing on the highest quality steaks and service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high performance standards.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, food preparation, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
- Supervise food handling, preparation, and presentation to meet safety and quality standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance culinary skills, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control measures, and financial reporting to support business growth.
Skills
- Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent team management skills with experience in interviewing, training & development, and staff supervision.
- Deep understanding of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high service standards during busy hours.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
- Experience in budgeting, food production management, catering services, or banquet operations is a plus.
