Job Title: Part-Time Budtender / Cannabis Consultant
Pay: $16–$17/hour (TBD based on experience) + Tips
Job Type: Part-Time (MUST be available weekends (some))

Job Summary
OMG Cannabis Consultants will have a dynamic personality and be driven/motivated to keep our dispensary and our dispensary team one of the best in the area. Consultants will be responsible for ensuring that all customers are provided a world class customer service experience by communicating to determine preference of desired effects and leveraging product knowledge to assist all who visit OMG Cannabis.
The Consultants will work with the management team and other Consultants in carrying out all retail operations in the store, including but not limited to customer service, order fulfillment, register operations, store appearance/cleaning, displays, teamwork-based employee interactions, and by performing other functions as assigned by anyone in the management team.
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills
- Must be 21+ years of age
- High school degree or relevant work experience
- Must have previous “Budtending” experience
- Knowledge of cannabis products and strains
- Consumption methods knowledge
- Basic METRC knowledge
- Flowhub experience a plus
- Must be able to lift 30+ lbs overhead
- Above-average communication and collaboration skills
- General mathematical skills
- Must have open availability, including evenings (until 8:30 PM) and weekends
- Retail customer service experience a must
- Dynamic and positive personality
- Strong decision-making capabilities
Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Maintain and use POS and METRC systems for all in-store orders
- Responsible for performing all cash and debit transactions correctly
- Ensure that all customers are provided a world class customer service experience by using product knowledge to assist all of OMG Cannabis’ customers
- Complete all transactions in compliance with all state and local laws
- Practice proper anti-diversion tactics consistently during each shift
- Ensure that the correct price, product, tax and/or discounts are applied correctly to each sale
- Complete and pass all State mandated Responsible Vendor Training written test with a 70% or better
- Complete OMG Cannabis product training and continue to educate yourself on all cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
- Maintain the store’s appearance so that it is a clean and inviting environment
- Maintain a professional and friendly disposition with all customers, vendors, visitors, and employees of OMG Cannabis

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs
- Educate customers on product details, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos
- Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist with merchandising and stocking to maintain an attractive and organized sales floor
- Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and assist with replenishment
- Maintain professional phone etiquette
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding cannabis sales and age restrictions
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience
- Supervising experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
