Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring products are complete, properly packaged, accurately documented, and correctly placed into inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Duties
- Verify that products are complete, properly packaged, and accurate before placing them into inventory.
- Count, weigh, inspect, move, and direct materials and orders to and from designated floor locations.
- Record shipment information, including time, date, method, and quantity, according to established procedures.
- Identify and report inventory, packaging, or shipment discrepancies promptly.
- Package all products coming from assembly lines in accordance with company standards.
- Nail guns, staplers, saws, and other assigned equipment are safely operated.
- Accurately use tape measures and perform measurements as required.
- Assist with building crates and preparing products for shipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shelving, staging, and packing areas.
- Support inventory accuracy and material flow throughout the facility.
- Assist the Shipping and Receiving department with pulling, staging, and delivering materials, components, and parts to support production line requirements.
- Ensure production areas are supplied with the correct materials in a timely manner to prevent interruptions in manufacturing operations.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and material requirements when pulling inventory for production.
- Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and Production personnel to maintain efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
