Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, hotels, or commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by properly handling cleaning chemicals and disinfectants in accordance with safety guidelines
- Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, waxing, buffing, and polishing to ensure floors look their best
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients or facilities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while ensuring their satisfaction with cleaning services
- Uphold health and safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness of janitorial equipment and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including inventory checks for cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders when necessary
- Experience with laundry operations or housekeeper management is a plus
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or corporate settings is preferred
