## Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Asphalt Tanker Truck Driver to transport the product safely and efficiently. This position offers an opportunity for a skilled driver to join our team and contribute to our logistics operations. Must have a good sense of responsibility and adhere to the safety requirements when driving, be courteous to clients and treat goods with care.
## Responsibilities
- Drive trucks to transport Asphalt Oil.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before driving
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
## Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Tanker endorsement
- Proven work experience as a tanker truck driver (5 or more years desired)
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is advantageous
## Physical Demands
- Constant physical effort, including standing and sitting is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform key duties.
- Frequently walk and/or climb on uneven surfaces of heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to operate hand tools.
- Maintain constant alertness
- Must be able to climb on and off equipment safely.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
