Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair appliance issues, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, modify, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members on large projects such as construction or renovation efforts involving mechanical systems or infrastructure upgrades.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including repair and replacement of mechanical components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) procedures in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Construction experience or familiarity with building infrastructure is a plus.
