$28–$32/hr starting + quarterly labor-efficiency bonuses. Weekly pay. Year-round residential work. We're hiring a working foreman / crew lead to run our Columbus window install crew, and we want to talk this week.
Who we are: We're a residential exteriors contractor in business since 2004. Egress windows, glass block, vinyl windows, entry doors across Ohio. In-house crews, jobs scoped and scheduled before you show up, tools and trucks provided. We are not a national franchise — small leadership team, real ownership of your crew, no layers between you and the people who make decisions.
The role: own the crew, own the install, own the customer. You report to our Operations Manager who handles the production planning and big-picture scheduling — your job is keeping the work moving in the field, solving problems on the spot, training your crew, and closing out every job clean. You're working with your crew, not watching from the truck.
What a week looks like: 7 AM Monday start at the shop. 2–3 person crew. 1–2 day residential jobs. Excavation, concrete cutting, window install, well, waterproofing, backfill, finish. Customer walk-through and sign-off.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years residential construction (windows, doors, remodeling, framing, masonry, or similar)
- You've led a crew before — people follow you because you know the work and do it alongside them
- Strong carpentry and framing skills, comfortable on the tools daily
- Field problem-solver — wrong materials, site surprises, customer questions don't rattle you
- Valid driver's license
- Bonus: egress install, concrete cutting, mini-excavator (we train the right person)
