Bring Your Experience, Grow Your Book of Business
We're looking for an experienced, already-licensed insurance agent to work closely with our head broker on Group Medical, Life Insurance, and Pre-Need lines. This role is built for someone who's already been through the chaos of an Open Enrollment period and knows how to manage a book of business, now looking for the right team, the right mentorship at the top level, and room to keep growing.
What You'll Do
- Work directly alongside our head broker on Group Medical, Life Insurance, and Pre-Need business
- Manage and grow your own existing book of business
- Guide clients through Group Medical enrollment, including Open Enrollment periods
- Educate clients on coverage, financial protection strategies, and pre-need planning
- Sell and service multiple product lines, including:
- Group Medical Insurance
- Life Insurance
- Pre-Need / Funeral Planning
- Attend weekly Thursday trainings and at least 2 in-person trainings per month at our Edinburg office

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed insurance agent, including direct experience working through an Open Enrollment period
- Currently licensed and in good standing (Life, Health, and/or Group Medical as applicable)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Self-motivated with a go-getter mindset. We don't hand out leads, so you'll need to be driven to build and maintain your own pipeline.
- Tech-savvy, specifically with Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat (PDFs)
- Able to commit at least 30 hours per week working with the head broker
- Comfortable working in-person with a team
Requirements
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least one full Open Enrollment cycle
- Must have your own laptop with reliable internet access
- Must be tech-savvy with Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Must attend weekly Thursday trainings
- Must attend at least 2 in-person trainings per month at our office in San Juan, TX
- Must be able to commit a minimum of 30 hours/week
